Publication Frequency: Tri-Annually (Three Issues Per Year)
Overview
The Journal of Advanced Electrical and Electronic Engineering (JAEEE) publishes three issues annually under its tri-annual publication schedule. The journal follows a transparent, systematic, rigorous, and fair editorial and publication process to ensure scientific quality, technical accuracy, research integrity, and academic excellence.
All manuscripts undergo editorial assessment and, where suitable, independent peer review before an editorial decision is made. Publication decisions are based on originality, technical significance, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal's official Online Journal Systems (OJS) submission platform in accordance with the journal's Editorial Policy and Author Guidelines.
Submission Website: https://jaeee.org/index.php/JAEEE/index
Manuscripts must satisfy the journal's requirements concerning originality, authorship, research ethics, manuscript preparation, technical accuracy, and scholarly presentation.
Authors must provide accurate information regarding author names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author details, funding sources, conflicts of interest, and ethical approvals where applicable.
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for publication in JAEEE.
The initial screening considers the manuscript's relevance to electrical and electronic engineering, originality, scientific contribution, technical accuracy, methodological quality, research integrity, completeness of references, and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned for correction or declined without external peer review.
Double-Anonymous Peer Review
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent subject experts who are not members of the journal's Editorial Board.
The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process.
Reviewers assess the originality, scientific validity, engineering methodology, experimental or simulation design, technical accuracy, interpretation of results, reproducibility where applicable, and overall contribution to the relevant discipline.
Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and decline assignments where impartiality or confidentiality may be compromised.
Revision and Editorial Decision
Where revisions are required, authors are invited to address the reviewers' comments and submit a revised manuscript together with an appropriate response explaining the changes made.
The Editor-in-Chief or authorized handling editor evaluates the reviewers' recommendations, the authors' responses, the quality of the revised manuscript, and relevant editorial considerations before making a final decision.
Possible editorial decisions include:
-
Acceptance
-
Minor revision
-
Major revision
-
Rejection
The journal reserves the right to request additional revisions or further expert evaluation when necessary to ensure scientific accuracy and publication quality.
Copyediting, Formatting, and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial and production preparation, which may include language editing, technical formatting, reference verification, figure and table assessment, equation checking, and proofreading.
Authors may be requested to review and approve the final proofs before publication.
Any substantive changes to the accepted manuscript remain subject to editorial approval.
Publication
Following successful completion of editorial evaluation, peer review, revisions, and production, accepted articles are published in the journal's scheduled tri-annual issues.
Published articles are made freely accessible online under the journal's stated open-access and licensing terms.
Publication Schedule
JAEEE publishes three issues per calendar year. The publication periods are organized as follows:
-
Issue 1: January–April
-
Issue 2: May–August
-
Issue 3: September–December
The journal does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication within a predetermined period. The time required for publication may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript, availability of reviewers, revision requirements, editorial processing, production arrangements, and the journal's publication schedule.
Commitment to Research Integrity and Editorial Independence
JAEEE is committed to maintaining fair and independent editorial decision-making, rigorous peer review, technical accuracy, scientific transparency, and internationally recognized standards of publication ethics.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit and are not influenced by authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, political views, or ability to pay applicable article processing charges.
The journal seeks to ensure that all manuscripts receive fair consideration and that published research contributes meaningfully to the advancement of electrical and electronic engineering and related technological disciplines.
