Data Sharing Policy

The Journal of Advanced Electrical and Electronic Engineering (JAEEE) is committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, research integrity, and responsible data sharing in scholarly publishing. The journal encourages authors to make the research data supporting their published findings accessible to the scientific community, in accordance with ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.

Authors are encouraged to deposit relevant research data, including experimental results, simulation datasets, computational models, software code, algorithms, and supplementary materials, in recognized institutional or subject-specific repositories whenever possible. Shared data should be appropriately documented to facilitate verification, replication, and further scientific investigation.

JAEEE encourages authors to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscripts, clearly indicating whether the supporting research data are publicly available, available upon reasonable request, or subject to access restrictions. Where datasets are deposited in repositories, authors should provide the relevant repository name, persistent identifier, DOI, or accessible link.

The journal recognizes that certain research data may contain confidential, proprietary, commercially sensitive, or legally restricted information. In such cases, authors are not required to disclose protected information publicly but should clearly explain the reasons for restricted access and specify whether any data can be made available under appropriate conditions.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all shared data are accurate, appropriately anonymized where necessary, and collected and distributed in compliance with applicable ethical approvals, intellectual property rights, institutional regulations, and data protection requirements.

JAEEE supports the principles of FAIR Data Management, encouraging research data to be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. Authors are encouraged to provide sufficient metadata and documentation to support the responsible interpretation and reuse of shared datasets.

The journal may request access to supporting research data during the editorial or peer-review process when necessary to verify the reliability and integrity of submitted research. Any such requests will be handled with appropriate consideration for confidentiality, intellectual property, and ethical restrictions.

JAEEE follows relevant recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) concerning research integrity, data transparency, and responsible scholarly publishing.

Through this policy, JAEEE aims to strengthen scientific credibility, encourage collaboration, and promote the responsible dissemination and preservation of research data in electrical and electronic engineering.
