Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scholarly merit, originality, scientific quality, and ethical compliance, without influence from article processing charges or commercial considerations.
Author's Guidelines and Authorship Criteria
Authorship in JAEEE is determined by substantial intellectual contributions to the conception, development, execution, interpretation, and preparation of scholarly research.
Individuals listed as authors must satisfy the following criteria:
-
Make substantial contributions to the conception or design of the research, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation.
-
Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.
-
Accept responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of their scholarly contributions.
All authors must agree to the submission and publication of the manuscript.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office and must ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submitted manuscript.
Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.
Guest authorship, honorary authorship, ghost authorship, and unauthorized changes to authorship are prohibited.
Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission must be supported by a reasonable explanation and written agreement from all affected authors.
Originality and Exclusive Submission
JAEEE accepts manuscripts that represent original scholarly contributions and have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors must disclose any earlier dissemination of the research, including conference presentations, conference proceedings, preprints, theses, dissertations, or institutional reports.
An expanded version of a conference paper may be considered when it contains substantial new scholarly contributions, appropriately acknowledges the earlier publication, complies with copyright requirements, and is disclosed to the editorial office.
Duplicate publication, redundant publication, plagiarism, inappropriate text recycling, and simultaneous submission to multiple journals are prohibited.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted material complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property requirements.
Manuscript Submission Procedure
Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts electronically through the journal's official Online Journal Systems (OJS) submission platform.
Submission Website: https://jaeee.org/index.php/JAEEE/index
Manuscripts should preferably be submitted in Microsoft Word format and must comply with the journal's manuscript preparation requirements.
Authors should provide complete and accurate manuscript information, including the article title, author names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, abstract, keywords, funding information, and relevant ethical declarations.
The editorial office may return incomplete or incorrectly prepared manuscripts for correction before initiating formal evaluation.
Editorial Screening and Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to JAEEE undergo an initial editorial screening to determine their suitability for the journal.
The preliminary assessment considers the following criteria:
-
Relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
-
Originality and technical significance.
-
Scientific validity and methodological quality.
-
Compliance with manuscript preparation requirements.
-
Research ethics and publication integrity.
-
Completeness and accuracy of references and supporting information.
Manuscripts that satisfy the initial screening requirements are considered for independent scholarly peer review.
JAEEE follows a double-blind peer-review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.
Reviewers assess the originality, technical accuracy, methodological soundness, clarity, interpretation, reproducibility where applicable, and scholarly contribution of submitted manuscripts.
Editorial decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
The Editor-in-Chief or authorized handling editor makes the final editorial decision based on reviewer recommendations, scientific merit, ethical considerations, and journal requirements.
Ethical Requirements for Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to JAEEE must comply with internationally recognized standards of research and publication ethics.
All submissions must be original, accurately reported, properly referenced, and free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate image manipulation, and other forms of research misconduct.
Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest, financial support, institutional affiliations, and ethical approvals where applicable.
The journal follows recognized principles and guidance provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
Relevant Resources:
Reference to these organizations does not imply formal membership, endorsement, or indexing.
Research Integrity and Data Accuracy
Authors are responsible for ensuring that research findings are accurate, supported by appropriate scientific evidence, and reproducible where feasible.
Fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of experimental measurements, simulation outputs, statistical analyses, engineering diagrams, images, or research results is prohibited.
Authors must describe their research methodology sufficiently to permit appropriate scholarly evaluation.
Conflicts of Interest and Funding Disclosure
All authors must disclose financial, professional, institutional, or personal interests that could reasonably influence the interpretation or presentation of their research.
Funding sources, grant information, and sponsor involvement must be acknowledged where applicable.
Research Involving Human Participants
Where research involves human participants, personal data, or identifiable information, authors must provide details of applicable ethical approval and informed consent requirements.
Research must comply with relevant institutional regulations and applicable laws.
Artificial Intelligence and AI-Assisted Writing
Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence tools when such tools have materially contributed to manuscript preparation, research analysis, image generation, or other substantive scholarly activities.
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot accept responsibility for the integrity of scholarly work.
Authors remain fully responsible for verifying the accuracy, originality, citations, and ethical compliance of AI-assisted content.
Research Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to make supporting research data, experimental results, software code, and simulation materials available when legally, ethically, and practically appropriate.
Where data cannot be shared because of confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property, or security restrictions, authors should provide an appropriate explanation.
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Language
All manuscripts must be written in clear, accurate, and grammatically correct English.
Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to obtain professional or academic language assistance before submission.
Structure of the Article
Title Page
The title page should include the complete manuscript title, full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, country information, and email addresses.
The corresponding author should be clearly identified.
Titles should be concise, informative, and free from unnecessary abbreviations.
Abstract
Each manuscript must contain a concise and informative abstract summarizing the research objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions.
An abstract of approximately 150–250 words is recommended, although reasonable variations may be accepted depending on the nature and complexity of the research.
